A Muscat of Spinach that manages at the same time to be expressive but not at all "noisy". The wine has succeeded in "taming" this inherently floral - and often one-dimensional - expression that characterizes the variety and straddles beautifully between nobility of expression and tensions. Elegantly aromatic then, with herbal hints (mint and basil), lovely lemon sorbet on the nose and just a hint of grape. Superbly balanced, a little more intensely aromatic on the palate, but at the same time perfectly dry and crisp, with acidity that freshens up perfectly and takes the finish on a long journey. Infallibly typical and without exaggeration. Perfectly balanced in all respects, a gorgeous wine for its style.
The grapes come from two different vineyard plots in the zone of Archanes withclay-clay sloping soils that drain well and are cultivated by two Archanian vine growers who take care of them with absolute diligence. The vines are still young, 7 and 12 years old, one at an altitude of 600m and the other a little lower at 470m. The grapes will be kept at a low temperature for pre-fermentative cold maceration and then only the pre-fermented juice will be used to make wine at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. An absolutely interesting texture and taste.
