Beppe Marino Brachetto Bramusa

10,50 €

This sweet, aromatic, and typically sparkling red appellation is based on the Brachetto grape variety. It could be described as the red counterpart of the neighboring Moscato d'Asti and is produced using the same method. It may not have the same recognition as its white counterpart, but Beppe Marino's Brachetto d'Acqui is a wine with a wonderful bright ruby color, red fruit such as strawberry and raspberry, along with floral rose notes and some spicy elements. Light, low in alcohol, refreshing, best served chilled, it is as invigorating as the natural springs that flow from Acqui Terme, the town that lends its name to the appellation.

More info

Brachetto has been cultivated in the area around the town of Acqui Terme for centuries, but it was only in the 1950s that this sparkling, sweet, low-alcohol style began to be produced using the Martinotti method. It is perhaps one of the most ideal dessert wines. Airy and light, it can be paired with a wide variety of fruits such as strawberries and even chocolate. Its lighter dimension refreshes and cleanses the palate from the richness of chocolate desserts. Chill it and enjoy it without hesitation.
