Tetramythos Nature Muscat Sec

19,40 €

It is impressive to see a variety such as Mikrorogo Muscat—so closely identified with a specific aromatic profile—transformed into something completely different. Tetramythos' Muscat Sec Nature redefines the variety, offering a dry, "sharp" version with depth, energy, and unparalleled finesse. At an altitude of 915 m, through careful organic cultivation and minimal intervention in the winemaking process, the variety acquires a world-class dimension. Floral and herbal aromas combine with marine minerality, hints of honey, butter, and nuts. On the palate, the effect of altitude is decisive: electric acidity, crystal-clear fruit expression, and a creamy texture combine to create a wine of precision and intensity. A rare, dynamic version of Muscat: Aegialia-Alsace 1-0!

More info

Muscat Blanc Sec Nature comes from a 7-acre organic vineyard with northern exposure, at an altitude of 915 m, near Ano Diakopto. The 18-year-old vines on clay-limestone soils produce grapes with high natural acidity and a clean mineral identity. Only free-run juice is used; both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occur spontaneously. Twenty-five percent of the wine is aged for six months in 600-liter French oak barrels, adding depth and complexity without altering the freshness of the fruit. It is bottled unfiltered, unclarified, and with minimal added sulfites. A wine of precision, energy, and mineral intensity that brings out the best in seafood—try it with raw oysters or crayfish and you'll understand why Tetramythos Muscat Sec Nature is considered a benchmark.
