The Dalamara Winery is one of the most authentic and exciting wineries in Naoussa, with a history that began in 1840 and continues uninterrupted to this day, passing from generation to generation. In modern times, the baton has been passed to Kostis Dalamara, representative of the sixth generation, who, together with his wife Maria, continues the family tradition.

Kostis is a true vigneron in the French sense of the term: a producer who personally takes care of every aspect of the vineyard and the wine. The cultivation has been certified organic since 1996, with vineyards covering approximately 60 acres and some cooperating vineyards from local producers at the foot of Vermio. His vineyards, with Paliokalia as their flagship, are planted with Xinomavro but also other varieties such as Merlot and Assyrtiko.

The estate's Xinomavros are outstanding. A personal style that brings Xinomavro into a new era without straying from the traditional character of the variety. The estate's Palaiokalias, one of the first single-vineyard Xinomavros of Naoussa, is a grand cru for the region with an exciting structure and aging potential. On the other hand, wines such as Agehors, Merlé, and Kapnistos show a more creative side, with blends, single-varietal labels, and different winemaking techniques that give a new dimension to the winery's identity.

Dalamaras' signature is found in the delicacy, purity of fruit, and balanced structure. Wines with an earthy character, but also liveliness, reflecting the place and the people who create them. From this generation, which in its youth changed the wine map of Naoussa and, as it matures, gets better and better. Like Xinomavro, in a way.
