And they talk precisely about those sidelined designations of origin that hide great secrets. Due to the lack of interest, they managed to escape the "curse" of laboratory-selected clones, preserving excellent genetic material and natural clones that are currently rare in Burgundy. Galeyrand seeks out such vineyards and creates works of art in appellations that one would not expect to give such a level of quality. Organic and biodynamic cultivation, about 25–30% fermentation with whole bunches that gives a beautiful spicy character to the fruit, and maturation for 16 months in oak barrels with 20% new wood. Structure, fruity, spicy character and, after the initial attack, a wonderful fine-grained texture with sweet fruit. Unlikely.
