A fifty-year-old vineyard that shines thanks to the efforts of Panagiotis and his ancestors to help it live effectively and without chemical interference. It is nature itself that is radiant and seeing it makes you realize the importance of standing a step back, observing carefully and listening to the needs of nature. She in turn reciprocates with a wine that is the epitome of Mavrodaphne. Don't look for sweeping alcohol and sugars. Krasis is a wine of just 12 points that evolves on our palate to another level. It has excellent acidity, tannins like raw silk but also a very subtle delicacy. It is not in a hurry to impose itself but has a confidence that you will interpret in your own way. To us, for example, it reminds us of an artful Burgundy, being aromatic and silky on the palate, with cherries and roses and a spicy and slightly animalistic sensation that is nevertheless perfectly refined.
