And when tasting Imaginador, one can perceive that all of the above characteristics overflow from the glass. Pedro Parra is a great winemaker from a Chile that is "different" from the one most people know. Itata is the most old-world part of the New World. An exciting terroir, the first wine-growing region planted in the country, the "heart" of dry farming, with ancient vineyards. Imaginador is an introduction to the magic of this exquisite place. Chile is scorched by the sun, but Itata is cloudy and cool. This is reflected in the elegance and cool fruit of Cinsault, the most important variety in this wine region. Not many producers on the planet devote their energy to this particular variety. Pedro Parra does, and Imaginador is a beautiful Cinsault, with a Burgundian approach, fruit from different vineyards, and an ethereal style.
