An outstanding natural wine made from 100% Malbec, with 15-year-old vines and minimal sulfur additions (below 30 mg/l total), intended for immediate consumption. In a broader perspective—and considering the whole-bunch vinification—it could be compared to a Beaujolais, even to the finest cru Beaujolais of the region. Fresh and approachable, with excellent concentration of red fruit, full of energy, vibrant acidity, and great intensity. A wine full of optimism, drive, and joy, with the most silky tannins one could wish for. It is vinified in concrete tanks and aged for 6 months in amphorae. And while the exciting “new discoveries” in the wine world—words like Trousseau, Jura, qvevri, pet-nat, and others—have become reference points for modern wine lovers, one cannot underestimate the beauty of classic grapes and regions, especially when they are given a completely new interpretation, as in La Cuvée Bistrot.
