Denis Jamain Reuilly Rouge "Les Pierres Plates" '21 750ml

15,50 €

Denis Jamain has a completely modest attitude towards this Pinot Noir of his vineyard, “Les Pierres Plates” in Reuilly. Unwilling to intervene in the slightest way in the delightful light expression of Pinot Noir of the region, he adds no oak, maturing the wine exclusively in steel tanks. The wine expresses itself marvelously without any insecurity, with great aesthetics in its fruit, mineral notes and an idea of earthy, vegetal notes. All the substance of Pinot Noir lies in the delicacy and is a very elegant and fresh example of the variety.

More info

Delicious, expressive fresh red fruit that reminds of cherry and wild strawberry along with some mineral notes like iodine and vegetal notes that bring in mind coriander and mint. On the palate it unveils a thin thread of tannins, barely capable of endowing the gravitas that even such a fine in its form wine needs. Denis Jamain, with “Les Pierres Plates” tries to perfect a style of red wines that would sweep you off your feet during the summer heat.
