Dalamara Kapnistos

Alongside Kostis's great Naoussa wines, Kapnistos proves that wine is a true art form. Without following the beaten path, relying on his instincts and expressing something personal, he creates a completely different Assyrtiko. The totally traditional approach, with partially filled barrels, offers an intense smoky and oxidative multi-layered dimension. Dalamaras loves Assyrtiko, which he discovered alongside Charidimos Hatzidakis, with whom he often traveled due to their shared importers. Kapnistos is a tribute to this great variety and to a more traditional style of winemaking. Smoke, honey, dried fruits and herbs, nuts, full-bodied, lively acidity and creamy texture. A true poem.
