Tsililis Terres Luna

23,10 €

Limniona "blooms" in the poor, rocky, dry soils of Meteora and offers Ioanna Tsili's Edenia Luna all the positive elements of its character. Freshness and strength, elegance and complexity coexist in this wine made from 100% Limniona, one of the rare but rapidly growing indigenous varieties of Thessaly. In the glass, it displays an intense red color, aromas of cherry, plum, violet, and herbal notes such as tea, while the palate has an excellent balance of fruit, tannins, and oak. An exceptional Limniona with both freshness and power that can age for at least the next 5 years in the bottle. An organic, unfiltered wine with minimal intervention that brings the unique terroir of Meteora to the glass.

More info

Edenia Luna is a wine made from 100% Limniona grapes, produced organically with minimal intervention. And why would anyone want to interfere with the low-yield, exceptional quality fruit produced by the semi-mountainous rocky vineyards of the Tsililis Terres winery in the heart of Meteora? The vinification is spontaneous and the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. It is then bottled without filtration and with low levels of sulphites.
