More info
Moschomavro MVL is an authentic, low-intervention expression of this rare variety from Pella, where the Ligas family works using organic practices and permaculture principles. The grapes come from 13-year-old vines in limestone and clay soils, harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts. Vinification follows a zero-intervention approach, with 7 days of maceration in a stainless steel tank at low temperatures of 17–18°C, preserving the variety’s fresh and aromatic character. The wine remains on its fine lees for 6 months before bottling, without filtration or the addition of sulfur. In the glass, it reveals an intensely aromatic profile with red fruits, herbal notes, and lively acidity that adds a lively edge. The body is light to medium, the alcohol content is low, and combined with its clean structure, it makes for a very refreshing, light-bodied red wine.
